The University of Gloucestershire has applied for planning permission to build a dental surgery on its City Campus.
Property consultant, Alder King, has been appointed to take forward the plan, which would see the third floor of the existing campus building transformed into a surgery where students can train and members of the public will be treated.
The plans, submitted to Gloucester City Council, include six treatment rooms, an open-plan treatment room with six bays, a patient waiting area, an X-ray room, changing facilities, showers, and two classrooms.
The majority of the staff employed at the surgery would be existing staff, the application states.
And opening hours would likely be Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
The application will be decided in the coming weeks.
