The Simplyhealth Group acquires dental media, events and practice services platform
Andover, Hampshire-based health cash plan provider The Simplyhealth Group has acquired FMC, a dental media, events and practice services platform, headquartered in Shenley, Hertfordshire.
FMC comprises two divisions. Dentistry OS is a dental software platform, supporting a mix of independent practices, mid-sized groups and large dental service organisations through a suite of compliance, HR, continuing professional development, consent, and marketing (Xcelerator Dental) solutions.
FMC Media & Events is a dental media, education and events businesses. Through journalism, educational content, conferences and events, FMC keeps dental professionals informed, supports professional development and connects the profession with suppliers, brands and innovators.
The Simplyhealth Group has relationships with more than 4,000 dental practices across the UK.
The Simplyhealth Group stated that the acquisition will enable it “to invest in the continued growth of FMC, supporting the development of new products and services while maintaining the high levels of service customers expect. Customers will continue working with the same trusted brands and day-to-day leadership team, while benefiting from additional investment in technology, innovation and product development.”
Following the acquisition, The Simplyhealth Group will comprise Simplyhealth, Denplan and FMC.
