Same-day walk-in dental clinic opens in Carlisle

A new private dental service offering same-day treatment without an appointment has opened in Carlisle.

Bite Club, provided by Plumfield Dental Practice, offers a unique service, with the motto: “Walk in, get seen, walk out.”

It provides an assessment for people of all ages, including children, for a flat £90 fee.

During the appointment a dentist will examine the problem, explain treatment options, outline estimated costs, and advise whether any solution is temporary or long-term.

The exact location of the Carlisle clinic is not publicly disclosed. Patients are asked to upload a medical form online before receiving the address.

The practice’s listed hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am-4pm.

A spokesman for the practice said: “A lot of people struggle to get regular check-ups for various reasons. Bite Club is about providing clarity and solutions quickly.

“Patients can come in, have their problem looked at, and leave knowing their options, without feeling judged or pressured.

“Whether it’s been six months or six years since your last check-up, we don’t care. We just aim to fix the problem.”
