Person Centred Software acquires Camascope

Camascope copyPerson Centred Software – which provides care management and intelligence supporting more than 300,000 residents of the UK elderly care sector – has acquired Camascope, UK medication management software provider, for an undisclosed amount.

Camascope’s digital medication management ecosystem, including its eMAR platform, replaces paper-based processes with a digital trail that supports CQC compliance and reduces administrative burden. Camascope connects care providers, pharmacies and GPs, and every month the platform helps care staff administer over 28 million doses of medication to more than 85,000 social care residents in the UK.

Person Centred Software solutions span care delivery, medication management, staffing management, resident and family experience and now care intelligence. It is now bringing them together into a single care operating system. At its core is IQ, PCS's care intelligence platform, drawing on a structured social care dataset with more than 21 billion structured care notes captured at the point of care over 13 years, to help providers benchmark quality, anticipate emerging needs and evidence the care they deliver.
