Marcuccilli Dental Care in the Scottish town of Airdrie in North Lanarkshire has been sold to experienced operator, Lesley Struthers.

Marcuccilli Dental Care is a three-surgery, mixed-income practice which has been serving the local community for over 50 years. Situated in the centre of the market town of Airdrie, it benefits from excellent transport links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The practice was sold by Lisa Marcuccilli, who has successfully run and grown the business since 2010.

She will remain part of the clinical team, but has chosen to step back from the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the practice.

Following a confidential sales process with Kevin Strain at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Stephen McConalogue at Christie Finance, the practice has been purchased by experienced operator, Struthers.

This is currently the only practice under her ownership, although she has previously purchased a practice through Christie & Co.

She said: “I’m a general dentist with experience in NHS and mixed practices across Scotland, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centred care.

“Marcuccilli Dental Care has an excellent reputation in Airdrie, built over many years by Lisa, and I’m delighted to continue that legacy.

“My focus is on patient continuity while also embracing growth and modernisation.”

Strain added: “The practice has an excellent reputation across Lanarkshire, a loyal patient base, and a well-established clinical team, all of which attracted strong interest from the market.

“After a competitive process, we were pleased to secure a successful outcome with an experienced independent buyer who truly appreciates the strengths of the business and its potential for further growth.”

The practice was sold for an undisclosed price.
