Springburn Dental Care, a four-surgery, mixed-income dental business in the suburb of Springburn, Glasgow, has been acquired by Gareth McMorrow and Paul McAllister, experienced multi-site operators who own Lansdowne Dental Care in the west end of Glasgow, tooth+ in Stirling, and Machan Dental Care in Larkhall.

The practice was established in 2018 by David Kennedy and grew to operate with four dentists and a dental therapist.

Following a confidential sales process with Kevin Strain at Christie & Co, the practice has been purchased by McMorrow and McAllister.

They said: “We are delighted to have completed the purchase of Springburn Dental Care.

“The practice has an excellent reputation within the local community and offers a strong mixed-income model that aligns well with our existing portfolio.

“Spring burn represents a great opportunity to build on solid foundations, support the existing team, and continue delivering high-quality patient care.

“We look forward to investing in the practice and becoming part of the Springburn community.”

Strain added: “I am delighted to have acted on behalf of Dave Kennedy in the sale of Springburn Dental Care, a well-run practice, located just outside Glasgow, which attracted strong demand at closing.

“What was once a price point typically accessible only to corporates is now within reach of independent buyers, and it was truly encouraging to see such robust interest, as we received five bids at the closing date with four coming from independent buyers.”

Springburn Dental Care was sold for an undisclosed price.
