The Association of Dental Groups (ADG) is partnering with Smile Dental Academy to offer members priority access to training courses.

The ADG, the trade body for the UK’s ‘mixed economy’, covering NHS, private, and community-based dentistry, is supporting dental practice groups to ensure the industry is on the right path to excel.

And ensuring access to the latest training available for the dental workforce is key to supporting the dental profession and strengthening it for the future.

Smile Dental Academy is a postgraduate dental education provider delivering a complete educational pathway for clinicians and dental organisations.

It specialises in practical, evidence-based education that directly improves clinical confidence, patient outcomes, and long-term career progression.

And it works with independent practices, corporates, and DSOs to support clinician development, retention, and performance through structured training and mentoring, operating internationally with delivery across London, Manchester, Dubai, and Mumbai.

Postgraduate training and education courses are available across all major clinical disciplines including restorative and aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics and aligners, endodontics, implants and oral surgery, periodontics, facial aesthetics and paediatric dentistry.

And it targets dentists, therapists, hygienists, dental nurses, treatment co-ordinators, receptionists, and technicians, offering blended learning through live training, online platforms, webinars, and CPD.

Under the new partnership, the academy will offer:

  • Exclusive ADG member access to Smile Dental Academy’s educational pathway
  • Preferential pricing and discounts on Level 7 Diploma programmes
  • Access to hands-on courses, mentoring, and live patient training
  • Complimentary webinars and online CPD opportunities
  • Support for clinicians at different career stages, from early years to advanced practice
  • Priority access to selected programmes, events and resources

Neil Carmichael, executive chair of the ADG, said: “The ADG is delighted to be able to offer our members this priority access to Smile Dental Academy’s excellent training offer.

“It is important for the association to be supporting dentistry and Smile Dental Academy’s exclusive offer for members is an invaluable opportunity for professionals to expand their clinical knowledge as well as receive business training.”

Dr Jin Vaghela, chief executive and founder of Smile Dental Academy, added: “We are passionate about raising standards in dentistry through practical education and mentoring that genuinely supports clinicians in the real world.

“Partnering with the ADG allows us to extend that support to its members and help shape confident, skilled, and fulfilled dental professionals for the future.”
